Outpatient Home Visits

When a patient suspects of having a mental illness or deterioration of memory, but finds it difficult to visit the hospital as an outpatient, an appointment should be made on the Home Visit Consultation Day so that a nurse can talk to the patient. If the nurse determines that the patient requires a home visit by a doctor, examination will be provided at home mainly by a psychiatrist and also by a nurse or psychiatric social worker.

System of Treatment
To make an appointment, please call the Medical & Welfare Consultation Unit or the Outpatient Reception and ask for an appointment for an Outpatient Home Visit Consultation. You will be asked for your name and contact telephone number when you make an appointment. First, visit the Hospital on the day of your appointment for a talk. Once the doctor determines it necessary to make a home visit, the date and time will be set and a car will be dispatched by us. The area for home visits is limited to Sakai City.
Treatment Policy
As a general rule, patients will receive treatment as inpatients and drug therapy will be provided to them.

Examinations and Guidance

Brain CT scan, electroencephalographic examination and blood tests will be performed where necessary.
